The year 2025 marks Master Builders Victoria’s official 150th anniversary, and Hyphen was honoured to help them share their story. We produced a 132-page coffee-table book that highlights the stories of the many people who have contributed to MBV over the years. The book is broken into seven theme-based chapters with personal recounts making up most of the text. It’s nostalgic, personal and packed with pride.
To celebrate Master Builders Victoria's sesquicentennial, we introduced a bold new look that departs from its usual branding, pairing rich black with gold for a timeless feel.
To accompany the book, we also collaborated with Master Builders Victoria to produce a 2-minute promotional film. Combining archival b-roll footage with newly filmed content, the film highlights the growth of MBV and the gratitude it holds for its people, from apprentices to lifelong members.
