For over a century, the Johnson family has been at the heart of South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia, leading manufacturers and marketers of animal stockfeed worldwide. To celebrate this incredible milestone, they gave Hyphen the inspiring task of capturing the story behind 100 years of family and business.
Spanning four generations of leadership—with a fifth now preparing to take the reins—this is a story of vision, resilience, and legacy. We've captured the Johnson's history in a way that will be shared with family, employees and stakeholders for years to come.
Design-wise, one of my favourite things about this book is the all-over emboss on the cover. We chose a pattern called ‘fingerprints’ because it reminded us of Van Gogh’s haystacks – perfect for a company that exports hay and stockfeed!
We engaged Hyphen to produce our book, Johnson’s: 100 Years in the Making. The staff and production team were extremely professional and dedicated to the task and have produced what we consider to be wonderful story of our 100 years that will live on for generations. Our customers, suppliers and farmers alike have really enjoyed the book, the images and the interaction between the family and all the people that have been a part of our journey.
